Schema ~ Feature Video
To create this feature video on using schema, our group met and discussed our ideas for a script. We tried to make the script funny and entertaining for students.
After finalizing the scripts, we filmed the scenes. We made sure they were nice captures, good lighting, that our voices were loud, and that students can experience a variety of settings. We also re-filmed scenes we were not satisfied with. There were many changes to the script and ideas during the filming process to make it better.
Next, we imported the video clips into iMovie to edit. We placed a nice introductory at the beginning of the video and included music to enhance the mood of the film.
At the end, we made sure to incorporate credits for the people who participated in the video and to cite the pieces of music we retrieved from Garage Band. We made this video for our language arts teachers to use when they teach thinking strategies.
