First we took the tripod out of the STLP room and went to the bathroom. Then we focused the camera to where it was in the best position to view the entire bathroom.
Next we began filming. Erna played the victim. We repositioned the camera to where we could see Erna walk into the bathroom stall. We had Erna walk into the stall and lock it shut as if she were going to use the bathroom. After this, we positioned the camera where you could see Lexi and Amari walk into the bathroom. While they were in there, they start talking about Erna who is still in the bathroom stall.
Next, Lexi and Amaari walk out of the bathroom. Then Erna walks out of the stall as if she was still crying. We then stopped filming. We tell Erna that the camera is off. Lexi then goes and makes fake blood out of cherry kool-aid, corn syrup, and water. She mixes it all together and puts it on Erna’s arm and splatters it in the sink so that it would look realistic. Taelor then turns on the camera and makes sure it is in the same position that we started with. Erna goes back to the sink. Then we started to film.
Finally, Erna gets a pair of scissors and starts “cutting herself.” After she does this, she passes out because of how much she “cuts herself.” Her friend Deja walks into the bathroom for a bathroom break and finds Erna on the ground. She tries to wake her up but nothing happens so she yells for help. Lexi hears her so she runs into the bathroom.
Deja asks Lexi why they were talking about Erna and tells them that it’s not a good thing to do. After this they start helping clean Erna up.

Words Don’t Matter
First, we got into our group and decided we wanted to create an anti bully video. Then, we started to brainstorm some ideas of what we include in the video. Once we finished brainstorming, we typed our script and printed it out.
Next, we thought of people we wanted to be in our video. We wanted to choose people who would take the project seriously. The next day we went to the students classroom and asked their teachers if we could borrow them for our video.
After we figured out everyone we were going to use, we started writing mean words that might hurt someone's feelings on index cards.
The camera that we used to film this video is a Canon Rebel T5i. We also have a Rode shotgun microphone attached to the top for better sound quality. We got the camera and our student actors and we went to film in the music classroom. We gave them directions of, "hold the card until we stop the camera.’’
We gave everyone a index card with a mean word on it and we began to record. We finished recording that part and then we gave them another instruction which was to ”rip your index card up until we stop the camera." When we finished recording we uploaded our video onto the computer.
The next day, we brainstormed more ideas we could do for our video and we all agreed to get some students to tell a time they were bullied. We got the camera and the students and gave them the instructions, ‘’tell a time when you were bullied that made you feel really upset.’’ They began sharing about a time they were bullied. When we finished, we uploaded our video to the computer.
Next, we edited our video and cut out footage that would not work. We added our title, and backgrounds with bullying facts. Then we added music and saved it to the computer.
