Rely on Friends, Not Drugs
First we sat down and decided what we wanted to do for this video. We knew we wanted it to be about drug awareness but we wanted something that would actually touch people, and be more powerful than the same old "don’t do drugs."
We sat down and made a diagram of where we wanted people to stand as well as when and where we wanted them to move.
Next we got our group of people to be the “drugs” and once we explained and showed them what they would be doing, we decided it would be neat if Erna & Lexi played the part of best friends. Then, we found our group of people to be the bullies.
At first, we wanted to film in the gym because we thought it would look better presentation wise and give us more room to work. We performed this in front of the entire school one morning to see how it would work and see what effect it would have on the students here at Moss. We had someone film us doing the video in the gym so we would know what it looked like. We didn't like that the video wasn't able to zoom in on anyone. That’s when we decided to film outside.
We stopped and started filming many times to give check our progress. It took many times of re-filming the different parts to get everything to look exactly how we wanted it to. To finish, we trimmed all of the clips down to make the video the correct link.

Don't Drink as a Minor
The camera that we used to film this video is a Canon Rebel T5i. We also have a Rode shotgun microphone we attached to the for better sound quality.
Our inspiration to create this video was Red Ribbon week. Our group decided to create a video about underage drinking. We brainstormed ideas and decided we we needed to be in our video.
We got the students we needed and went to the bathroom and recorded Alisa sitting on the floor and started recording. We checked the camera to make sure the footage was ok. We all liked it!
Next, we filmed at the lockers and decided to have the video taking place during finals. We wanted to stress the importance of staying away from drugs and alcohol, having a life plan, and never giving up on your dreams.
